Finder Sted • Taking Place is a bachelor’s program in architecture at the Royal Danish Academy, founded in 2014 in the seaplane hangar on Holmen in Copenhagen. Over a decade, the program has explored how architectural education can be shaped through academic rigor, shared responsibility, curiosity, and artistic courage.

The book is about what it means to begin studying architecture. About learning to draw, build, write, travel, discuss, doubt, and see. About seeking precision rather than perfection. About daring to engage personally without standing alone. And about understanding architecture not only as a profession, but as an artistic, social, and critical way of being in the world.
